High Loads, Less Pressure

The TM1060 features VF construction designed to increase efficiency both in the field and on the road. Compared to the same size without VF technology, it supports up to 30% lower pressure at the same load, or up to 40% higher load at the same pressure. Without increasing the physical dimensions of the tire, TM1060 provides superior performance compared to existing /60 series tires on the market and can equip tractors up to 400 hp, even using a narrow rim option.

In footprint tests at size VF 710/60R42 (load: 10,198 lbs, 15 psi), TM1060 delivered a 4% wider footprint versus a premium competitor. FEM analysis shows that soil compaction worsens rapidly with narrower tires: at 4 inches depth, compaction is double with a narrow solution compared to TM1060, and triples at 12 inches depth.

In field productivity tests (VF 710/60R42, 200 hp tractor, 15 psi, 13% soil humidity, high-torque working conditions), TM1060 plowed 1,235 acres at 14.7 min/acre versus 15.8 min/acre for a premium /60 competitor, saving up to 23 hours and $2,616 on 1,235 acres at $104/hour average working cost. On the road (50% road / 50% field, 200 hp tractor, fuel at $3.89/gal), TM1060 indexes at 100 for fuel consumption versus 105 for a premium competitor, saving $1,978 after 1,000 hours, and also lasts 350 hours longer.
