Which tractor tire is right for my operation?

That depends on your usage profile. For intensive arable farming on sensitive soils, IF or VF tires are recommended. These carry the same load as standard tires at significantly lower tire pressure. For mixed road and field operation, the TM700 and TM800 radial tires are the proven all-around solution. Our tire selector gives you a recommendation for your tractor type and application in just a few steps.

What do the abbreviations IF or VF mean on tractor tires?

IF stands for "Increased Flexion": an IF tire carries the same load as an identically built standard radial tire, but requires 20 percent less air pressure. VF stands for "Very High Flexion": here, the pressure savings compared to a standard tire are up to 40 percent at the same load capacity. Both technologies have been shown to reduce soil compaction and thus protect soil structure in the long term.

Which tire size fits my tractor?

You can find the approved tire size in your tractor's vehicle registration document (field O.1) or in the owner's manual. The key factors are tire width, aspect ratio, construction type (R = Radial), and rim diameter in inches. Enter these values into our tire selector to find compatible Trelleborg models.

Where can I buy Trelleborg Tires brand tractor tires?

Tractor tires are available exclusively through our authorized dealer partners in USA. Use our dealer search to find the nearest partner. There you'll receive expert advice, professional mounting, and a final tire pressure check right at the time of purchase.

Is there a warranty on Trelleborg Tires brand tractor tires?

Yes, on selected rear-axle tires in the TM series — including the TM800, TM900, TM1000, and TM1060 models — Trelleborg Tires grants a Progressive Traction mileage warranty of 5,000 operating hours. You can find the exact terms in the product documentation for the respective model or by asking your Trelleborg dealer partner.

What is the difference between radial and diagonal (bias-ply) tires on tractors?

On radial tires, the carcass plies run at a right angle to the direction of travel. This creates a large, flat contact patch, resulting in low slip and lower rolling resistance on the road. Diagonal (bias-ply) tires have crossed plies at an acute angle: the tire becomes stiffer and more impact-resistant, but ground pressure increases. In modern arable farming, the radial tire dominates, while diagonal tires retain their strengths in forestry work and on particularly hard, uneven terrain.

Customer Favorites & Top Sellers

TM1000 ProgressiveTraction® Tractor tire

The TM1000 ProgressiveTraction® tractor tire is designed for modern high-horsepower tractors and combines strong pulling power, high load capacity, and efficient field work. Thanks to VF technology, it can carry up to 40% more load at the same pressure or operate with up to 40% lower tire pressure at the same load. This supports a wider footprint, reduces soil compaction, and increases productivity in demanding applications.

TM800 ProgressiveTraction® Tractor tire

The TM800 ProgressiveTraction® tractor tire is a high-performance solution for versatile agricultural applications on soft to hard soils. The patented ProgressiveTraction® technology improves traction, reduces working time per hectare, and enables more efficient fuel consumption. Thanks to its extra-wide tread profile and ability to carry heavy loads at low tire inflation pressure, it is an ideal choice for intensive field and road applications.

TM700 ProgressiveTraction® Tractor tire

The TM700 ProgressiveTraction® tractor tire is designed to transfer more power to the ground and make agricultural work more efficient. Its dual-lug technology provides additional traction, better self-cleaning, and reduced vibration. As a result, wear and fuel consumption are reduced. The wider footprint also helps reduce soil compaction and increase productivity per hectare.

TM1060 Tractor tire

The TM1060 tractor tire is designed for medium- and high-horsepower tractors. It combines high load capacity with efficient power transfer to the ground. Its special tread design maximizes tread width, creates a particularly wide footprint, and increases traction through dual lugs. At the same time, the flexible sidewall allows for lower tire pressure, reduces soil compaction, and supports productive work in demanding conditions.

TM900 High Power Tractor tire

The TM900 ProgressiveTraction® tractor tire is designed for high-power tractors that require reliable grip, strong load performance, and efficient operation in demanding agricultural conditions. Its ProgressiveTraction® design delivers premium traction, excellent self-cleaning, superior tire life, and enhanced road behavior.
