Trelleborg showcased its extensive portfolio of complete wheel solutions at FIMA Agricola 2014
In a stand of more than 500 square meters, the company offered farming professionals best-in-class solutions that boost the efficiency and productivity of their operations.
Taking center stage at Trelleborg’s ‘sustainable farming’ themed stand has been the impressive LED waterfall, which reflects the company’s sustainable stance and underlines its commitment to providing solutions which not only provide added value for the customer, but for the environment as well.
Among the new products on show, Trelleborg’s giant IF900/65R46 TM1000 High Power with its 46-inch THK rim, has been showcased suspended on the water to emphasize its incomparable floatation performance. The new BlueTireTM tread design has been engineered to maximize the tread width and ensure the widest footprint on the market, providing optimum pressure distribution and the utmost respect for the soil.
The company also featured on its stand the innovative ProgressiveTraction™ tire, a concept of agricultural tires specifically designed to improve farming efficiency thanks to a double lug. Operating on the soil at different times, the double lug progressively releases higher traction where and when required.
ProgressiveTraction™ tires demonstrated a traction capacity over ten percent higher when compared to standard technology tires. Moreover, the extra pulling force resulted in a three to five percent reduction of working time, as well as a five percent reduction in fuel consumption, providing farming operations with substantial cost savings.
Progressive Traction™ has already been recognized as one of the most innovative technologies across the agricultural industry, receiving the prestigious “Machine of the Year 2014” at Agritechnica Exhibition and the ‘Silver Ears 2013’ award at Agribex.
Trelleborg’s popular 650/65R42 TM800, 750/60R30.5 TWIN RADIAL, 460/70R24 TH400 from its agro-industrial range and the IF 800/70R32 CFO TM3000 for the latest generation of harvesting applications, was featured on stand, available as complete wheels with Trelleborg rims.
